While attending Willamette, Mr. Marker received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Willamette's nationally ranked Center in Dispute Resolution. Dispute resolution is a core theme in Mr. Marker's advocacy philosophy. To promote this idea he attended Pepperdine University's Straus Institute. The number one dispute resolution program in the nation. He was admitted to its Masters in Dispute Resolution program. Before participating in the program full-time he was accepted in Bond University School of Law's Masters of Law (LLM) program in Dispute Resolution. Bond University is a beautiful school on the Pacific coast of Australia in the City of Gold Coast. After receiving his LLM in Dispute Resolution, Mr. Marker returned to Utah and started his practice. He has had a diverse practice which has provide him the opportunity to work with entities such as the World Trade Center-Utah, SCORE, The Small Business Development Center at Weber State, and other businesses.

He has also created a negotiation seminar certified for continuing legal education accredited in Texas, Florida, Illinois, Washington, California, Oregon, and Utah. His private practice as also served parents and families in family and juvenile court. Mr. Marker believes that the family is the key unity of society and deserves to be protected. Children particularly need to not feel compromised. He mediates and advocates with the children in mind while protecting parental rights. As a defense attorney Mr. Marker has appeared in the majority of the district courts throughout the state and numerous justice courts. He believes in the constitutional guarantees in the United States Constitution and Utah Constitution for individuals to have protection against criminal allegations.
